Some of the user are unable to re-write IMEI number after flashing to stock ROM. Although SN Write tool is provided with stock ROM but I don't why they are not using it :D Anyway with this little steps you can easily re-write your phone IMEI number without PC requirement.

- First root your Lava Iris X8 using Kingo root and install CTR recovery.
- Now open Settings > About Phone and check whether Baseband version has values or not. If yes then follow next step.
- Download this app Chamelephon from play store, download APK from mediafire link.
- Remove both SIM's.
- Open the downloaded app and click Generate Random IMEI's.
- Apply new IMEI's.
- Your new IMEI's will be displayed in popup.
- Restart your phone.
If this does not work then I highly recommend to use SN Write Tool.
